Lets see.... Starting in Feb., Was given a 2yr old AMHR gelding, and traded him and yearling AMHR filly for an APHA riding mare, Traded the riding mare for an AMHR 2yr old filly, and didn't like her (wasn't what I was shown in pics) so sold her Traded a yearling AMHR gelding for an AMHA/AMHR...

A few thoughts for those that raise babies and/or plan to sell horses.....

Very interesting topic. We have noticed it as well that they seem to follow their names. For example, my filly I Ain't No Drama Queen has that same diva attitude, in denial she is a drama queen lol. Her barn name is Queenie. Tibbs Mercedes Benz, Mercedes, you put him in a cart and it feels like...

He is already showing breeding behavior and he does pee on his front legs but he really doesn't stink. I am still debating on it, whether to bred or not. I never thought I would get one but...New shetland

this boy has such loud color and a pretty head i figured it would look best in a cable halter, but wanted to ask. I have never really sat and watched the shetland classes except for if they were ahead of me and I was waiting on my class, and then you really don't pay much attention anyways lol.

    Little Update On My Cat

We had an older cat put down this year, I figured she was just old, as her teeth werein bad shape and she was thin and not eating. Turns out she tested positive for Feline Lukiemia. I was so hard on myself after that because she was an indoor/outdoor and I had brought her in the house to care...

I never thought I would get one but...New shetland

I had inquired on him originally, but talked myself out of it as I have never been involved in the shetlands and didn't have a clue on them. I went to look at 2 other AMHR colts, but when I saw this boy I couldn't help myself Can't offically announce him yet, not till after Nationals when I...

Talk about color changes threw the year

I figured alot of it was sunbleaching. When we first got him the person had kept him in a stall almost 24/7, not to mention he had not been clipped yet. And as time has went on he keeps turning this funny color. It's gourgeous in person. And his mane and tail are a dark chocolate color, and then...

Talk about color changes threw the year

I have always called him a silver smokey black, as he looked black when we got him but he has pink/mottled skin on his lips and privates. I was also told his sire is a proven silver smokey black based on what he has produced (Marystown Mercedes) Mercedes dam is a chestnut pinto. I thought about...
