    Hmm, so maybe I'll try a feeder. I think maybe they just don't like to eat what's touching the ground : Can anyone give me ideas for easy to build or bargin hay feeders?

    My 2 mini's aren't eating as much hay as I thought they would and seem to be wasting quite a lot of it. I have been throwing out 2 flakes (1 for each) of coastal hay twice a day and there is always a lot of it left over. Should I cut the down to 1/2 a flake each twice a day. Is that enough?
