    Oster Clipper Blades

I buy all Andies Ceramic blades and they last well. I get them from petedge.com Good prices and really quick shipping. I gave up on having blades sharpend. Last few times most came back duller than when I sent them. Even the ones that would cut did not cut for very ;ong.

    AMHR qualification question

Jen you can drive in the main gate and take the long way around. Might get you the 2 extra miles between both shows. After that the long trip Nationals will be seem about the same distance. LOL Just remember you can't walk the minis home for lunch everyday at Nationals!

    AMHR qualification question

Jen since those 2 shows are across the road from you I'm sure you'll have to travel to an area 6 or 7 just to get in some mileage. LOL

    Trimming feet

Started doing our own several years ago as the farriers we tried didn't really like to do minis and it showed. I got a lot of advice from Linda Best when I started. Sounds like you already have a lot of knowledge on what you expect for a trim so I don't think you'll have any problems. Worst...

STATE FARM CANCELS MY HOMEOWNERS INS

We have changed Ins companies a couple times in the past 3 years. Not fun at all. First company we were with for 15 plus years the agent was a friend and he basically fudged the fact that we were a farm and kept us sliding along. We thought we were covered as we had an "incidental farm...

    Does anyone recognize this horse/driver?

Not sure who it is in the video. Linda is the only one I can identify. Too blurry on my screen to see most of the faces. I believe this may have been Linda's final show? I am taking guess but think Kim B. may have taken the video. Mark

    Feeding good haylege

We do not feed haylege to our minis but I know of several with big horses that do feed haylege and have for years. They have to be very carfull with mold and spoilage. They also have cattle so the lower quality goes to cattle. I'm not sure if it work for minis at all. We put up some very nice...

    Who attended the Greencastle Sale

We were there again at the sale. crowd seemed a bit smaller than past years. Horse numbers were down. 130 plus 10 driving and some mini donkeys. We were there for the tack sale. Farrier advice

If your current guy is doing a good job keep him. Around here mini trims are $20-35 each and not sure many are happy with the quality of the work. Most are just glad to have some one that will do them. Thankfully there are a few that do a very nice job with minis here.

UPDATED PICS....What color is she? She is changing....

Same thought here. Silver bays do seem to change colors some as they age and with the seasons. At least ours do.
