    Who still has his first miniature?

    First Mini is KuLee Country Jake & i got him as a weanling. He is 23 this year. Stallion for 10 yrs and now a gelding. Next is Lilliput Acres Thumbelina i got her as a weanling. Lena is 21 this year and they are both healthy and going strong.

    AMHA. In amateur i understand you need a card/number. If you were planning on showing a couple times a year would it be in your best interest to show in Amateur or open? Not in it for points right now, just testing the waters. Do the pros fit into the open classes?

    Hats for halter class?

    I did not see any women wearing hats in the halter class i was in, i didn't wear mine. Some of the guys wore hats and some didn't so i guess there is no right or wrong about it in halter. Whatever is comfortable, i like the hats though.

    I know you wear a hat for showmanship classes but i am wondering do you see women wearing hats in AMHA halter classes? I can't recall if i have seen the gals wearing hats or not, men yes. Can you take it off to get your horse to set their ears without being overlooked by the judge?
