    Hi, I haven't been on here in ages!! I am so glad to see the forum is still thriving! I have a question: What does everyone use for a tick deterrent? I have 15 minis and wonder if the Equi-Spot that is made for big horses would be ok for the minis. Or any other ideas that work! Thank you!!

    Using local sawdust for bedding

    Does anyone use sawdust from area firewood cutters? The cutter said the wood consists of soft maple and hard maple. Is this safe to use for bedding? I have used pine before with no problems.

    I am not familiar with inbreeding or linebreeding. I do know in certain cases, father to daughter has been done, and brother to sister is a no-no. What about a mare to her nephew? (her brother's son) Is this safe?
