Well, we gelded our jack because of meaness also. He wasn't really a problem toward the horse, just toward us.....which is unacceptable. I was wondering, do you have a home grooming product that is cheap and easy to make? I would use store-boughten , but it does get quite expensive. Any inputs?

I like the Arabian mini halter, but it might look better all silver. I purchased a mini leather halter for my donkey at a very cheap price, and I love it.It has held up great! If I were to use it in show, I would probably add silver conchos or something. But you did say you weren't too big on...

I have never tried (and never will ) to brush my mini donkeys teeth, though if you do; I agree with MeadowRidge Farm: post pics! I wouldn't worry about Crackers tooth.....If you are, call the vet. Good luck!

My mini donkey is scared of water ( like a bath ). When ever I tie him, he keeps walking around the object. I even tried having someone hold his head. He doesn't mind the shampoo, just the spraying water. I can understand him being scared, so I try not to be angry at him. Any solutions?

I have had him since December of 07. He didn't start until he got a little older. He has an Arabian mare, and there is antoher mare next to us. I haven't done really any training with him at all. I agree that animals should be friends. I honestly think that sometimes he wants to play.....but...
