    Close call

My appy dun had a beautiful colt this morning, but I could have lost both. My equipage went off and when I got to the birthing barn, I found Penny straining and one leg out. I reached in and found the colt's nose was up under the pelvis. By the grace of God I was able to push the foal back in &...

    Pre-school fun

You might remember Naomi. She was born blind to Donna at QtrRae's minis, she did her gain her sight as she grew older. Donna entrusted her to me and allowed me to buy her. Later she was attacked by a dog, but miraculously survived. She is a very special girl & I love her. Today Naomi, two...

    New Colt

This is my latest colt. He has such a wonderful personality. He seems to think that I am another foal and wants to play. And it's not that he doesn't have a playmate. Here he is saying hello to Runaways Angel Eyes my first filly this year. He is also out of the stallion in my avator.

Thought you might like to see my first rescue. He came out of a stockyard in NE. I wan't sure he would make it. He is pictured the first day at our place and after he returned to full health. IN the first picture, the little boy wasn't riding him, but just sat on him for a moment to take a...

    Shocked, angry and hurt

I come from a long-line of people who have rescued animals. I have spent litterally thousands of dollars neutoring stray cats and finding them homes. So, it was no surprise that I would do the same with mini's; fact the first minis I had were rescues. My horses are my family and their needs...
