Also make sure she is well hydrated. If she has slacked off drinking that won't help the situation. Have the vet IV her for fluids.

I think he's cute! He looks almost identical to how my Affie looks in the winter. She gets the heaviest wildest winter coat! (FYI That is Affie in my avatar pic when she was clipped)

She definitely looks grulla to me. Her coloring is identical to how my grulla pinto mare looked at birth.

I've done nothing special for mine and they are doing great and still laying. Mine are free ranging and I don't feed and water them specifically. They drink out of the water troughs for the other animals and scratch in the hay for grain and bugs. (I feed wheat hay so lots of grain in it)

I know alot of goat breeders use this with lots of success and accuracy.

Kari, Wendy's mom did the same thing. She probably learned it from her. I've had several that do this, especially in the summer when it is hot.

Jane, it is called domperidone. But you have to be careful to NOT use banamine immediately after foaling if you have to use domperidone to bring in the milk.

We LOVE the show at our household. Hubby and I both watch it and think some of the singers on it are better than those out earing the big bucks.

I will add that I also feed with my round bales on their sides. I can see how if you feed one up on its end, how it might be more likely to fall and hurt someone.
