    Well, we compete combined driving and I showed and won with my 23 year old gelding in intermediate a year ago. I have since started my 3 year old, so I am going to be retiring my wonderful old guy. But he could definately be still driven. He loves it!

    I have used the solid cores on my tires for the last 14 years, I have never had to change them. I love them, they work great, as for the ride I really dont notice it being much bumpier, the only thing is when it is real cold they squeak! You will love them

    I think later is better as well, you dont want to cause them any damage physically or mentally. It is well worth the wait!

    My mom does this with pregnant women using a pencil and string. I has been between 95 and 100 percent accurate. I have used it myself on my friends, this is the first time I have heard of people using it on horses. I do not know the history but know that it has been around for a very long time!

    I give my pregnant mare the Mare Plus supplement. Is there anything else you guys give to them. My vet said that miniatures require more calcium than the larger mares. Have you heard that and if so what do you give them?

    Yes, my little mare was bitten about 2 years ago. She was very sick and it did take quite a while to get her right again. Her little nose was 3 times the normal size. She could hardly eat because she could not open her mouth very well. The vet gave her stuff for swelling, I dont even remember...
