    Gardening

Lots of damage. I'm still pruning and figuring out what can be saved. But most things are recovering well. I am a member of Vintage Garden group on FB and it is getting me into lots of trouble! I keeping dragging things out of my stash and figuring out how to get them into the garden! This...

Cart is gone. I'll miss it. But it was the right thing to do at this time.

I think it is sold. Buyer is at a show in Tulsa and wants to pick it up on Sunday. It is for her daughter. I said I would hold it until Sunday. Seems like a legitimate buyer. Makes me sad. I ran across the receipt when I got it in 2002. I bought some eBay shares and decided when they made...

I just got a question from someone: does it have any flaws? Ha! What does he mean by flaws??? If he wants perfect he better start looking for a new one--and good luck with that.

With a very sad heart I am selling my Jerald Runabout. Billy cannot use it and I am not going to get another horse. I will be 71 this year and not inclined to train another horse. Billy and I are doing fine by ourselves. We will continue to drive in the sulky as long as he is able. I have...

45 minutes for Billy. I trotted him more than I should because I got a phone call and had to hurry home. I did have leisure to enjoy the blue sky and white clouds. Ideal driving weather.

    2024 crafter's delight - whatcha working on?

Finished a slow-stitch piece for a greeting card. Embroidery with paint and button embellishments. I was inspired by this cute crocheted bracelet a button collector made. I tried to figure it out by the photo, but it wasn't as easy as I thought!

    New Trailer with Pics

Did I see Oklahoma on the manufacturer? You were in my neck of the woods perhaps! That was quite a trek. Handsome trailer and so well designed for your needs.

Deluge and hail yesterday. Oh, dear. Must wait until the sun comes out to see what can be salvaged. We needed the rain badly, but no one likes hail.

    2024 crafter's delight - whatcha working on?

Does she still have it? I had a Pleasant Company doll, I believe Samantha? I made her a wardrobe of pretty clothes and gave her to grand daughters. Their mom purged her in one of their moves (she is a minimalist). The youngest daughter is not "girlie" and prefers to play with her brothers, so...

Billy posing by the antique horse drawn planter. To give an idea of size, I can step over this fence.

    2024 crafter's delight - whatcha working on?

I found this American Girl doll at the thrift store. Couldn't leave her. She had a few marks on her face and arms but really clean. Her hair was a mess, of course. I made her a dress and underwear and put her hair in a french braid--not sure what doll she is so I don't know how the hair was...

    Trail Camera

Haven't had the trail camera up for several weeks. Laziness. But something is working havoc in the flower pots and beds--eating the buds and actually digging up whole plants. At first we thought it was deer, and part of the damage could be from them. But the hole digging had to be a...

    Gardening

A cactus in the wheelbarrow is beginning to bloom. The varmints keep digging things up and eating off the bloom ends of the succulents. Found this fun metal leaf at the thrift store yesterday. I think it will be nice for bees and lizards to drink.

Love the photos. And really enjoyed the part about your friend being nervous if her pony sped up, but you two pushed him. Such confidence bred confidence! I feel for your friend, however; once a person gets scared, it isn't easy to recover. I do the same thing with Billy--when I feel as...
