We had a colt back in the 1990's that was breeding everyone on our place at 3 months of age! His dam was the boss mare and he got his dominance over the herd from her! He was promptly gelded and became a very sweet boy!

We had a very bad experience with soybean / millet hay! We had two mares get impacted with it and almost lost one of them! I would never feed it again! Bill

Sure wish we were closer to you! We lost all our winter hay in the flood! We had just put 400 bales in the barn on Wed. and was hit by the flood on Sunday!

This afternoon we are going to bring our mares back to our farm! We have cleaned out their dry lots and the barn for them! All the fences are repaired and ready! Update 9-5-12 Wanalynn & I went to J D Metals today and ordered the metal for our new roof! The color we choose is charcoal grey to bring out the colors in our brick! I'll Get pix as soon as we start putting on the new roof! We pickup the new metal on Friday morning!
