Just a question that I am curious about...correct me if I am wrong, but...if you PAY for a horse and have the transfer signed by the previous owner, and you take possession of this horse, isn't he YOURS?

We already have two registries, most breeds have just one. We will reduce the value of our horses when they can be registered in any "mini" registry. Folks will be developing their own "registries" and selling horses as "purebreds". What we do need to do is make the registries we have...

Just a little advice from humble me...I had a simular situation when I was a teenager with a large horse. My dad wanted me to sell one of my two horses and I had to choose. The colt I sold was one I had raised. He sold the horse to a "friend" that promised to "take really good care of him"...
