For those of you that have actually WEIGHED your Minis...

We weighed Big Man at the feed store about 3 months ago. He's 36" tall, and built like a tank...he weighed in at 378 lbs :new_shocked: He's really not overweight either, just solid.

    what a difference

Pretty girls : You can't live too far from me...that first picture looks like it could be in our front yard!

Could be in your neighbourhood too....

Yep...it's crazy nowdays. My parents live in an extremely nice, upscale neighborhood and they got a knock on their door one evening by an FBI agent...letting them know that they were planning a raid on the house NEXT DOOR and they might want to leave for the night. My mom and sisters left for my...

    Got my new harness

We purchased the exact same harness off e-bay for Big Man and it's held up great,... but I did get the scissors out and cut off the blinders (we just drive for fun, no showing). Rocky looks GREAT! :aktion033:

    Can horses get chiggers?

Thank you, KayKay..I never thought of that! Chiggers are a tiny bug/insect thing that live in the grass & weeds down south....I don't think they're in the northern states. You can't see them, but you can sure feel them! You can (and WILL) get them by just setting foot in grass...they burrow...

    Do you remember

I LOVE your pictures! :aktion033: I always show them to my husband....this time he said "Now, how old is that girl?" I told him I thought you were probably my age 23-25ish...he then says "Well, I'm moving to Utah!"

    Can horses get chiggers?

He started out with just his legs irritating him..he'll kick at himself and rub his legs together (to the point he's knocking off hair on the inside of his legs), but now he's itchy all over. He doesn't have any visible bugs on him (such as lice). My husband has chiggers really bad, too...so...

Anyone else here have minis that aren't registered?

Neither of my minis have been registered. Tuffy was not. Big Man technically WAS...I have a set of temporary AMHA papers for him (he's bred to the hilt, too), along with a signed transfer, BUT he measures in at 37", so I guess he's unregistered (he's 4 now). He's an awesome driving gelding & a...

motel rooms for the show in Shawnee, OK

Yes! We also stayed at a motel in Shawnee, OK when we were there for a sale. At about midnight when we got back to the room...we pulled back the blanket to discover there were NO SHEETS on the bed! AND it looked as though everyone had been sleeping on it that way, it was DISGUSTING. Pee stains...

    Medical Help....Sciatic Nerve?

I'm 30 weeks pregnant right now, and for the last 3 weeks I have not been able to walk properly (or stand, or sit, or sleep for that matter!) because of the sciatic nerve issue. My doctor said there isn't really much they can do about it He reccommended sleeping with a pillow between the...

    Was I out of line

I don't know anything about rope horses, so I drug my husband in the house to look at your pictures. He said "She already knows why that guy was running his mouth....'Yeller' is a heck of a nice horse" I've always been jealous of your talents!! : I can't even ride a horse...I'll fall off!!!

Your favorite shampoos and grooming products

I use the blue Dawn soap on the entire body and then Pantene conditioner on the mane & tail. They smell like girly-boys afterwards & they're super clean & shiny!

    foal legs

Mona, when I got my Tuffy at 4 months old, his feet looked exactly as your colts do in the picture. My hubby did the magic shoes about every 1-2 weeks, and right before Tuffy passed as a yearling he was doing awesome...standing & walking on his hooves (not his pasterns!) and his hocks were back...
