    Colts becoming stallions.

I think the impact of a colts up bringing starts once the day he sets foot on this earth. Every foal needs basic training IMO thats a given. Colts I feel like need to start learning some respect towards people when it is young enough to be tought. Of course let them be babies, but don't let them...

AMHA - if there were a B division...

Actually yeah I would, if they tend to make this pernament as a B division. However, I would like them to reduce fees for our A size horses with AMHR papers first just like AMHR does it with our AMHA papers.

    A Simple Request

I can see the roadster classes, and the Sr. Halter gelding class, and the Adult PMC country pleasure class you might beable to get in. However, there just aren't enough in draft to make it 30" and under, however perhaps see if they can split it in the A and B divisions, if they don't already do...

    National Show Venue

Like disneyhorse said, it would be stressful not only on the animals but the people as well if they keep on moving it to different places year after year. I think AMHR has finially found a place to be proud of to have their National show, look at their numbers. They aren't decreasing they are...

May I just say thank you?

Just like politics, AMHA wouldn't even exist without its members :

Just a thought about the AMHA "over" sized horses

Perhaps what AMHA should do is when you make your horse pernament, you get a measuring stick, put red tape where 34" is, and measure your horse like you would at a show, honestly, and take a picture of your horse getting measured, it would have to be the whole horse so they can see it standing...

    New Reg?

I agree. Making a new registry isn't then answer. We need to clean up the problems first, and I see measuring to be one of the biggest problems.

    AMHA members poll

I think AMHA needs too question themselves why they aren't doing as well in the financial department, and what they can do to change this. Is this new registry they want to create suppose to help them financially? I see AMHA as a registry that accepts the best of the best 34" and under...

    My horse wont eat grain

I would feed him at his old spot by himself and watch. If he still won't eat call the vet. Especially this time of year not eating is defintelly a red flag! I would even check all vital signs now just to make sure nothing is wrong.

TWINKLE JUST WONT PUT WEIGHT ON!!!

I suggest a good quality grain myself. Are you able to get the new Platform Miniature Horse and Pony Feed? I got it once it came to my area and its working great for my horses that need the extra weight. But, he needs good quality grain to get his topline covered.

What would you do,,,,,,health MAY be passed on

Well let me ask you this question. If his foals do end up with this potential problem, and it is stuck with them for the rest of their lives, would you keep the foals and take care of the problem yourself, or you sell them and the new owners get stuck with the problem? Not trying to sound like...

Is this normal, runny nose & coughing

Just keep watching him, cause I hear MO is going back down in temps again. I do something once their breathing gets envolved. Don't mean caughing, but when it goes down into their lungs you need to do something then. Right now the vet would probably just give you something like SMZ tablets, but...

    Show Halter Question

Yes beaded halters were hot somewhat, now not. I think people found that the beaded halters just made the halter look to bulky. I actually sold all my beaded show halters. I think IMO what will be coming back is the plain halters. If your horses head is nice and small I would go with just a...
