I personally think grays are pretty, but probably wouldn't buy one due to the prevalence of melanomas. I do have one gray mini mare that developed a melanoma under her tail, so now she can't even be driven any more (it's right where the crupper would go).

I use coconut oil (virgin). It really moisturizes dry manes and tails. My horses tails have never looked better and they are so soft and not course, almost like human hair.

Do you usually close clip/bald the muzzle and eyes and use highlighter on your driving horses? Or do you show them without the "goop"?
