I live in Ogallala Nebraska. We have lived here now for 4 1/2 years. We are the new owners of two rescued miniature horses, Bea and Maggie. It has been quite the learning curve making sure they have the right feed, the right amount to avoid illness and enough attention to become friendly. They are beginning to trust humans a little. After a month and a half I am now able to catch them with a little grain and brush them. Next learning curve for them will be to let me tie them up and brush out their tails and get them wrapped. Maggie is due to foal between the end of March and the first of July and needs a lot of work in trusting me, but she is coming along. And Bea is much older than I wanted but she is here and will now live out the rest of her life being taken care of. Thank you to everyone that has been so kind in answering my questions and giving advise.



My new interest is my mini's Bea and Maggie. I continue to love the goats and give them attention too, but Bea and Maggie need so much time spent with them.
