What do you do if you have one of 'these'...

LOL, I was thinking the same thing! Have him arrested for trespassing once or twice and then maybe he'll learn to keep his hands off things that don't belong to him. If he has a problem with the way you're treating your animals he can call whatever the Australian equivalent of the ASPCA is. He's...

    Dallisgrass

Does anyone know if it's safe to feed hay that's a Bermuda/Dallisgrass mix to horses? I'm not familiar with Dallisgrass and am having trouble finding information on it. I was going to buy this hay for my cows, but if it's safe for horses I'll buy some for them as well.

    Mini shelter - size?

The two mares in my icon (that are 31-32in) share a 3 sided shed that is 8ft long, 5ft wide, and 5ft high with a slope down to about 4ft in the back. They both stand inside it just fine.

    Zebu or mini cattle

Zebus were the first breed of mini cattle that I bought, and I hated them. They're wild, just like the Brahma. I had one cow and heifer that I hand fed everyday for 6-7 months, and the best I ever managed was to lay my hand on them for about 3 seconds before they would run off. Working them was...

    Oklahoma Pinto

I tried. I could only find 2 showbills, and all I saw were "Pony Halter" and one that had "Pony in Hand Trail". I guess nationals has more classes, but I wouldn't want to show in just that, even though the location is very convenient.

    Oklahoma Pinto

Does anyone here show their minis in any of the Pinto horse shows in Oklahoma? I'm trying to decide if I want to spend the money to register with ptha or not. Do they only offer halter classes, or are there driving classes and jumping, obstacle, etc. offered? Any information or personal...

    Question about chickies

I raised both Welsummers and Easter Eggers this spring, and I'm 99% sure those chicks are Welsummers. The body coloring and the masking around the eyes is the real giveaway. Easter Eggers can be any color, and some of them looked similar to my Welsummers at that age. However, they developed...

What type of training/teaching manners for yearlings?

How much lunging/round pen work can they do at that age? Can they be asked to lope or just trot? How long should the sessions be? What age could you train for hunter/jumper?

    Yearling Opinions Needed

Hey all! New to this forum and the miniature horse world. I recently bought this little girl because I wanted to start showing in some of the local shows. I love pintos and this little girl had the prettiest blue eyes, but the more I look at her the more I start to doubt that she's show quality...
