For all the "old" and former LB Members

Hi there...Susanne alerted me to this thread's existence and I thought I'd say hey! Kari G introduced me to LB in 1997, right at the time my Cherry Bomb was born. It was a great place to while away hours on mare stare, or in the rainy Winter months between show seasons, brag about wins...

    Another color question:)

Newborn silver smokey-black colt. Dam was chestnut solid carrying the silver gene with normal, dark eyes. Sire was smokey black solid with normal, dark eyes. Here he is as a long yearling. As the colt grew, his eyes changed to an olive-green, now more of a topaz brown color, much lighter...

    Whatchadoingthisweekend?

Yup, that's what I am doing this weekend! Since I live in the Goonies capital of the world (filmed here) and it's the 25-year anniversary, and I work with a guy who builds historic/entertainment memorabilia (sort of like Hard Rock Cafe but more personal or exclusive), I thought I'd take my boys...

    Having a really tough time

I am so sorry, Leia...I remember when he began to fail so soon after Gramma Pony left, and was so happy when he rallied. However I know that bit of suspense that lurks with such an oldie but goodie and the sense of joy you feel every time the grizzled old head pops up over a stall door or fence...

Goat milk vs. foal formula as long-term milk replacer for young foal

Hi there, Long story short: 2 week old filly, born at what seemed normal gestation, but at a bout a week old, quit nursing, was found unresponsive, revived by a vet and determined to be possibly premature. Her Igg levels tested ok according to vet, but the filly's tongue is uncoordinated/lays...

    Hi all! Update time!

*LOL*, I forgot my "manners": "You are receiving this official warning because you mentioned horses you have for (dirty word) in your recent thread on the Back Porch. The post has been edited by our moderating team. Please be advised that this is your first "official" warning, and further, that...

Who has the best price on blades that work?

I used Ft. Worth Shaver in TX and had good results. Burroughs Electric here in OR is a very helpful dealer, though. Liz

    About Hummingbird Feeders

Ours are terribly greedy and we have to replace feeders with fuschias to keep up with them! We found a 32-oz version of the typical plastic with yellow inserts (made in USA, too!)...don't know if that part's true anymore (where they are made). Good luck with the hummers. We are wrapping up...

    Miniature mortality insurance

I used Agri-Risk and dealt with a very nice lady name LaVon Hess. I never had a claim, but felt that they were helpful to me. Liz
