    Golden palomino wanted!!!!

Hi, Does anyone have, or know of, a golden palomino for sale?I would prefer a mare or filly but if the horse is right, then a gelding would be ok. I have bene looking everywhere and they are very hard to find. I thought with this new crop of foals...maybe there would be one out there! Color is...

    How much turnout time?

I know..24/7 is the ideal BUT...I keep mine in large paddocks and they each get a couple of hours a day in pasture to run and play. They are only stalled in bad weather. Just curious as when I kept my biggie's at a barn..they got 15 minutes turnout from their stalls, a day. Obviously I rode...

    The prettiest blankets..well made too!!!

I think the pick doona (quilted) blanket I bought was $38 - something like that anyway!I thought it was well priced. I suppose I will have to see when it arrives but they look just gorgeous on the website. I am Aussie too so I like to buy "locally" sometimes. I am going to wait for the dooner...

    Purina Omolene 200

I used to feed the Omo. 200 but switched to Triple Crown ES. I notice much more of a "bloom" on mine and I feel like it does not make them as hot. They love it!I weigh mine on a small scale. My little mare gets 1 .5 pounds a day and my gelding gets 2 pounds (one in the am and one in the...

    Puffy eyes and nose?

I wish I had the injection on hand! The powder worked well though..once he ate it, of course. I also wish the vet was closer but...being prepared is so important out here (or anywhere for that matter!). I just did not want the vet to drive all the way out and it had gone down already. Of course...

    Puffy eyes and nose?

Thank you for you kind thoughts. It was scary!!He got swollen so fast..I was so worried about his breathing. Honestly, thank Heavens for this forum and google!! That is a good idea to dissolve the tabs in water and use a syringe and give it orally. I did not have liquid benadryl. I heard it was...

    Puffy eyes and nose?

Thank you! This morning..even better!! The dex must have really helped over night but it was the banamine that helped him feel good enough to actually eat the sweetfeed with the dex in it. I feel so lucky!Disaster averted! It takes 2 hours at least for a vet to come and late on a sunday before...

Found my dex powder!- how much did you give your mini?I have a small sachet of it but it should help until the vet comes - can only come tomorrow seeing as not a dire emergency! Lucky I have some first aid supplies..I already gave him some Banamine. The vet said to give the Banamine but I did...
