Well Stormy is our 8 year old app. The rescue pony that got me started, she was going to be put down because the colt was weaned & he did not want to fool with her, Stormy was over 200 lb under weight and had old eye issues that were never taken care of & joint issues. She belonged to a pony trader. The vet said with food and care she should do fine, well 8 months later & she still needs more weight on, But is doing well.

Her before pic's - the day before she came to us

The 1st time we ever seen her walk fast or even show a gait with out pain, was the day Flica came. We watch Stormy move like we never thought we would see SHE WAS HAPPY.

Sad to say but on 09-14-2009 Stormy crossed the rainbow bridge, we knew the friday before & we had a few day's to say good by, She got to eat good food with no nasty meds or sups, I did not do her eye drops ( she hated that ) so she has a few belly filling no stress day's before she she was at piece & pain free for once. I never thought that day would come, I only ever wanted her to be pain free... Once she started to go down hill & nothing was working, that was the only way to have her pain free. Her grave is at the back of the barn ( not in there field ) & marked with a cross, right on the other side of the barn wall was her area, & her but boad, she woould prop her but on it to get some weight off her sore legs. We wrapped that board with a large beach towel to give her some padding. The towel will stay there as a reminder that is her spot & her but board LOL. We will miss her, and all ways remeber her for sure.

RIP STORMY

We bought Flica to be a pal to stormy and her eyes since she can not see well. I found the add and was pretty set on getting her, well once we got there I knew I was not leaving with out her, There she stood in the rain with a grown man holding an electric cord around her neck, her halter was indented it to her face & mane, The man said he couldnt do anything with her. He tried to brake her by riding her 200+lb man & she is 32 inches tall & under 2. Well she ran him into the fence 2 times and he gave up and just left her to raom with 3 mini donkey's. So we had to show her people are nice, It took me 3 weeks to be able to touch her & get the halter off, with the farriers help. Now she is like a puppy and follows me all around. She is iffy abuot touching her face & her bangs... But I am working on it. She had to learn how to eat fed. her halter was so tight it dented her bottom jaw bone, she was trying to eat and could not open her move her jaw. There was a dent in her main 2 inches deep.

on top of that we think she is in foal to the mini jack

will add more later. Here are a few pic's of her
