Have any of you tried Fly Predators?

I'm thinking of trying Fly Predators from Spaulding Laboratories this year, and know I should start soon should I go this route. Have any of you tried them, and how did they work for you?

What's your favorite bloodline for throwing that arabian head?

The Rock E Bred horses are some of my favorite Arabian heads. This is Strasslein Red E Sweet Vengeance sired by my B&L's Rock "E" Red Alert and out of a Rock E bred mare as well. She is now owned by Margot Cahill, but I still love this photo I had done of her by Sandy.

    What bloodlines are in?

Excellent post, Erica! I am a huge fan of the Rock "E" bloodline, but that should come as no surprise. I bought my first one 10 years ago, and now my whole program (both AMHR and ASPC) is focused around them. All I can say, is it has worked for me. I have a pasture full of ponies that I...

Need clarification on AMHR Sweeps and Futurity

Sweepstakes and Futurity are different "pots" and can be confusing. Futurity Nominations for foals born in 2012 are due Mar 1 of 2012. Sweepstakes Stallion Participants have to nominate their stallions by Mar 1 of 2012 for foals born in 2013. This allows for the auction and outside mares to...

Which stallion that you have seen in person,,,

Oh Stacy, I am SO Sorry!!! I can only imagine how you feel by imagining if such thing were to happen to Red Alert, and I would be absolutely devastated. I am sorry for the industry that Prince won't be able to directly pass on more of his beautiful genetics, but I look forward to seeing some...

    Colour Experts?

Hi Devon! Of course you can test her if you want to, but I'll put money on her being negative for Frame. The Rock E line is full of Splash and Sabino, but not frame. Jubilee's mother's line carries splash as well. I've found Splash to be a very unpredictable color pattern - you just...

I am really sorry that Mike and I missed convention this year! We would have loved to go, but I had to get my knee fixed. From the pictures and comments, it looks like those of you who hosted it put on a really classy event!

"Bred" mare showing signs of heat...or is she open??

Will be interesting to hear what your vet says... I know lots of people have mares that show signs of heat when they are bred, but in my experience, when they show strong signs (like willing to stand) this late in the pregnancy, they are open. When was her last foal?
