    Any goat breeders?

It is probably unrelated to the pregnancy, I would keep an eye on her for other signs of illness. It's not uncommon this time of year for them to get a little off from a virus, or could be something she ate. Keep close eye for bloa too, that can start minor and faster you treat it the better. I...

    Slow Feeder hay nets/bags

Thanks for the help/suggestions. My minis are not hard on the nets at all, my Freedom Feeder is 5-6 years old and only has 2 holes from stuffing it full & being out in the weather. I do put out 2 nets now, probably better to have multiple feeding stations anyway so they move around more.

    Goats and Minis

I grew up with goats and have owned them for many years! Last 6 years I've had Nigerians, I love my Nigerian Goats! I would be cautious about putting them with horses, only because some will chase/kick them. I think if you can give them fence to fence time to get used to each other it will...

    Slow Feeder hay nets/bags

I'm looking for 1 large slow feeder that my 3 Minis can share, they do share regular slow feeder hay nets & the old style small Freedom Feeder just fine. It will be used outside in paddock, so one that is easy to move around to be inside the shed if weather is bad would be great. My freedom...

    Fly boots

I have the Kensington, which way do you put them on?

    Fly boots

I've been using fly boots on my mini mare for a few years now. I opened a new set this year, same brand and size, but the fit seems different. I've tried them with Velcro straps around the front of her legs, and Velcro straps around the back. I think previously I thought around the back was...

    Essential Oils

Love them! I use them daily. Borrowed my mom's diffuser when I had bad cold, it helped at night. Young Living is great company with high quality oils, beware when purchasing for use on skin or internal use as some are not pure quality oils.

    Grazing muzzle

Tough One has had mini grazing muzzle, I had one for 3 yrs, had to replace it last year. It does have velcro at the poll which easily pops open if they get caught. The hole for grazing is larger than the Best Friends brand, I use both brands, depends on the horse.

winter laminitis What information can you share?

The Triple Crown 30% Supplement should be fine after the initial flare-up is over. It's NSC is 9.8% so it's a low starch feed. I'm sorry you're having trouble again. I did have one of mine tested last summer for IR/EMS, it was worth the testing to know for sure and helped with management...

Mini Fetus Development Webpage- still used for reference?

Thanks everyone for your willingness to take over the information! I am still looking into options for my website. I will be in touch with those of you who volunteered your website for the info!

Mini Fetus Development Webpage- still used for reference?

I'm thinking about scrapping my website or downgrading to a free one. I'm not breeding horses anymore, so the purpose of the website is not fully needed anymore. I do have some educational pages on there also, one of which is the Mini Fetus Development page. I wanted to see if folks still use it...

    Goat & rabbit ?s

I know, I really need to redo my website and add more goat stuff, I just haven't had time. We had dairy goats to milk for our family when I was very young for my mom and younger brother because of allergies they could drink the goats milk. Not long after that my parents got into breeding &...

    Goat & rabbit ?s

It depends on your area for marketing if you plan to sell kids. My goats are all from registered stock, but the paperwork got lost along the way, so some of them are unregistered. Pet goats and especially the Nigerian breed are easy to sell around here. It is a little harder to find the...

    Goat & rabbit ?s

Just noticed your question about the hot wire on top, with the smaller goats you don't need to worry about them climbing over the top of the fencing if it's the standard 4' high, and as long as you keep anything they can jump on away from the fence so they can't jump or climb on anything and...
