    On Line auctions

I'd say open is your best bet. 2 reasons: 1) if I was a youth, or a non-breeder looking to buy that mare, the hassle of foaling (it's scary) might turn me away from buying her 2) if I wanted the mare bred or infoal, one of the thoughts going through my mind would be, 'will she abort the foal...

When to clip Buckskin for show?

HI guys, wondering when you clip your buckskins for show. I thought it'd be a fun little topic. I was going to do mine a week before the show, but i'd like to razor/blend his face, so hopefully I won't run into any blending problems? I was going to use a 10 blade all over and then the fancy...

    Round Pen made of Pallets

I'm a bit of a hippie, okay, A LOT of a hippie I've seen some cool looking turn outs made of pallets with supporting beams, and seen them as stalls. I think this idea is totally awesome if a person can get their hands on some fresh pallets! I think a round pen made of pallets would look very...

Do thinning knifes work for mane?

Hmm. What I've always done is take a metal comb, backcomb the mane, twirl the hairs around the comb, then yank close to the neck. I've never had a horse be bothered by it.
