I'm not saying this person had taste that sent the email but they have to get their animals to practice on from somewhere.
Many times deceased animals are kept in a freezer ( just as people are kept in them with a fancier name ) and those would probably be the only animals that would be in...
Thanks everyone.
I do have about 20 bails of pure afafa left - I will start using that and get the other things mentioned.
I sure don't mind spending money on him at all. I just want him back to his old self. He is a really tiny guy already. It has been bothering me so much that he eats...
This poor little man got hit hard with strangles this spring. He was nothing but skin and bones at the worst of it.
Well he is fine now! We are thankful that he made it through ok.... but now I can't get him in
shape. He can just now start to do "work" the vet has had him on walk only...
Lots of hay here... all kinds. However for those of you in "bad" areas I might suggest using the hay exchage on line. My mom lives in FL (northern) and has QH's she was in a bad spt a few months ago. I had a load trucked to her. I have lots of friends with semis who would gladly haul hay...
Hey Joy! Yes this is belle's little man from last year... I need to get a picture that is newer than 6 months old on here... We shaved his head yesterday because he just never seemed to shed out right... I imagine it has to do with him being so ill this spring.. He's come back nicely and put...
I'm not sure of his height at birth... I wish I had measured him now.. The photos just are odd... His mane and tail are long, I think sprouts must be sticking up... but it is long.. in fact now past the bottom of his neck.. I'll get new photos tomarrow to post.. .. The first photo is early...

I have a yearling - born early last April (2006) that is now standing at 23 inches. He is a cute boy with straight legs, a nice head, good bite and is not oddly put together. I think he is a nice looking mini and not dwarf in appearance but I want to know if I can test him to find out for...
Are mine the only horses that get loaded with ticks? this year had not been as bad as years past but I remember specifically two years ago we spent days "deticking" them. they never seem to be on the body of the horse.. only in the mane. My dogs would have no ticks.. but the horses would have...
Thanks to everyone who responded.. This weekend I will get out there with him... try to clean him up a bit ( although I have never clipped a horse so I don't imagine that will happen ) and see if I can get a still shot of him.
Would anyone mind directing me to a photo for comparison? Not...
Thank you.. I have thought about having the Amish man down the road train him to drive. He is so amazing with horses. Anyhow.. what kind of photo do I need? Just standing? or do I have to try and stretch him out? LOL I have no clue how to even get a horse to stand like that... I have so...
I have only had minis a few years. We love them to death and they have become part of the family so to speak. My daughter is really looking forward to showing next year but I am unsure where to gain the skills ( for both of us ) to learn the proper technique.. Also.. are any of my horses...
