Stallions definitely can be a little wild. Oddly enough, he is not. Absolutely the calmest stallion I have seen. We had the farrier out today and he was blown away that he was still intact. Suggested "if his attitude is this good still intact I wouldn't cut him".
Yes, the forage. I'm not positive I'll be able to get consistent good hay in my area. I know minis are prone to lots of health issues in terms of starches and sugars and don't want to hurt him. I absolutely love him already.
