The reason I did not breed LAST year for babies this year is because I need to sell some and saw no reason to breed for more if I was able to sell the ones I had. I did get a new stud last year and am just DIEING to see what I get from him.... but as it looks I will not be breed THIS year...
Just a FYI
I am in NO way knocking tring to save a buck. Lord knows I am doing that right now too. Just want you to know that if you ever have a problem with Frontline (there is a lot of bootleg products out there) and you did NOT buy it at a vet clinic, Merial will not honor their product...
Same as all the above in Missouri! I tried to get Doc to do it every 3 years since that is what we do for dogs and cats and he said no that is was labeled for 1 year only in horses....

I work at a vet clinic and have only seen 1 torsion in the 5 years I have been there. This happened to a Chow. Saying this we had a lady who owned a Bermese Mountain Dog and had the "tacking" done due to loosing a previous one to a torsion. After a month or so the dog started have bad problems...
RESPONSIBLITY

ok my turn... I just posted an ad the other day wanting another dwarf to buddy with my remaining one.... I regretted GIVEING away my other 2 but they went to the same home and are SO loved you just have no idea how loved they are. The reason I regret it now, which if I asked the lady would give...
Sorry but I have to vote NO... as a single mother I HAVE to think about my 11 year old son and what would happen to him. I can replace a pet and god knows I love mine and it would be hard but my son can NOT replace his momma.....

I raise Pygmies and don't have any problems out of them with the horses... all but 2 are dehorned. I personally HATE horns and dehorn everything born here. They pretty much stay away from each other. Horse chace them when they are feeling frisky but the goats hit the fence and are out of there...
Ok my 2 cents worth on Rain Rot.... I work at a vet clinic for starters. I have a Biggy mare that got a HORRIBLE case of this on her rump.. in her white spots no less. She was scratching her spots till they bled. Well I went to work... got novasan mixed and was going to treat with that...
