Hi! I'm Sunny, aka Dragonfur. I live in north central Texas with my husband of nearly 36 years, along with 6 miniature horses, 1 miniature donkey, and too many cats (the result of rescuing a pregnant mom).
My horses are my friends, my hobby, and my sanity! Also, frequently my photography subject.
I've got 30+ years working with big horses, and 6 working with my minis. I'd never even heard of miniature horses before I saw the first one I bought. She bit her owner in the butt, and I fell in love! (No one would accuse me of being normal!) I still have her, and probably always will.
I don't show, though I think I'd like to. Maybe when I get my AMHR Appy boy trained to drive, I will. I have one broodmare, due May 1st for my first (live) foal. (Lost one in 2006, during a severe drought, due to bad hay. Gorgeous Appy boy, too.) I'm hoping for better luck this time!
