No more mini horses for me. Sigh. We sold our farm in August 2015 and downsized due to hubby being ill. We now have a smaller place that doesn't need mowing on a tractor. (In fact, I have a yard man, so I don't even have to mow any more)

I still have my little long haired Chihuahua (aka "the queen") and I missed having animals so much I went out and got a canary. Tweety is a real interesting little guy and I really enjoy hearing him sing. In fact, when I contacted the breeder, all I asked for was a bird who would sing. Be careful what you ask for, because you just might get it. LOL When he gets going, he can be quite loud.

We live a very quiet life now, just the two of us. I have suspended hubby's driving privileges, so we don't travel much as I have to do all the driving.

I miss my farm, my friends, my church and am having a difficult time trying to find my way.

We'll see what the future has in store for us.

(May 2017) The future is here, and it isn't pretty. Hubby was just diagnosed with dementia. It's really stressful for me. Not so much for him (duh).
