Hi! I'm Diva's Girl(Brittany).
A little about me...
Ever since I got my first Mini my goal has been to promote small horses, ponies, and driving horses in my area as most tend to have a bad rap. I hope to be able to change that and show people what these wonderful horses are capable of doing. My current dream is to eventually start my own farm and to bring Falabella miniature horses to Alaska! It is a dream that I am working hard to make into reality.
9-9-2012 I bought my very first horse on my parent's anniversary , a 36 inch mare whom I share with my mom, for my 16th birthday and my parent's anniversary present for my mom. We brought her home on 9-14-2012, on my birthday!
late September of 2012 I got a harness for my mini and started working on ground driving her, she took to it like a natural and we really started bonding as we taught each other how to work together. I found that I liked doing In-hand dressage
November of 2012 I got to drive a horse buggy for the first time with a 20 year old Morgan mare and her owner. The Mare's owner showed me how to drive her horse and then handed me the reins and told me to drive. We started off easy with some basic pleasure driving so I could get used to the feel of the horse and the cart and then launched right into some fast paced scurry driving. I was completely hooked! This started my passion for fast paced buggy and carriage sports like Scurry, cross country, and obstacle. I joined the buggy club where the other lady was from and now I currently drive in it. Diva is the smallest driving horse there and only current driving mini.
December of 2012 my mom, Rhondaalaska, and I got our easy entry cart and started desensitizing Diva to it.
January of 2012 Diva got hooked to the cart and was driven on lead line for the first time. 2 weeks later my mom and I were driving her independently without lead.
in June of 2013 I trained Diva to jump and now it is one of our favorite hobbies together besides racing in the cart. She keeps me in shape, I am so worn out by the end of the day because we both love it so much we don't want to stop!
in July of 2013 we went to a play-day at one of my favorite stables where diva and her playmate, a 39 inch former Shetland stallion, jumped in sync together at liberty. We showed many other Pony and mini owners how to teach their minis to ground drive and jump so that they can do more stuff with their little ones besides them just being companion horses for their larger horses and kids riding ponies.
On 2-18-2015 my mom an I bought another miniature horse. Welcome to the family, Dually!

My dad has surprised me with a brand new easy entry cart for my birthday! Thanks, Dad! He built it from scratch and I got to choose the colors and upholstery! It is a red cart with white shafts and highlights and tan seat. I love how classy it looks and it is custom balanced and sized for Diva and I. Diva really likes it too!
My horses
I got my first mini, Diva, on 9-9-2012 for my 16th birthday and I love her to death. I have been in and around horses my whole life but she is my first horse. We are now driving in a club for driving horses and she is the smallest one there but that does not stop her. She can keep up no problem and most of the time outlasts the larger horses, lol. We also do In-hand Jumping, in-hand dressage, and whatever else catches our interests.

Diva is a driving horse, a jumper, and a trick horse! She has come a long way since I got her and now she is teaching kids and adults alike to drive and handle horses. She especially loves kids. She is very calm with kids and inexperienced adults and will try to take care of them but will give more experienced people a nice challenge.
