Was playing around with pictures and wanted to share

I use Microsoft Picture It... I have another program that's more advance, just haven't used it enough to get the hang of it like I have with Picture It.. Here's one I did for our overo-loosa stallion: My best ones are ones for friends that have lost a beloved pet/friend.. This is one I did...

Was playing around with pictures and wanted to share

Lots of time and patience lol I use Picture It photo editing, just cut out the picture(s) I want, edit the background, stack pictures and what not till I get what I want.. It's taken A LOT of time to get the hang of the cutting and stuff, but it's a lot of fun!

Was playing around with pictures and wanted to share

Yep it's a smoking gun and a rose.. Just wanted to make sure they were noticeable, when I redo it I can always make either one stand out more if necessary.. This kind of stuff is my new hobby, LOVE doing it!

Can you tell what the background is? If so I'll keep the background and put a clipped pic of him on there.. :bgrin Check out our website for our foal name game if you wanna play along.. My mom reports that Sweet Tart is still making good progress in the udder department.. Hoping she holds off...

    Our first 2007 foal

Gorgeous baby! :new_shocked: : I'll bet he is definately hiding some spots... You can see some white peeking in on his muzzle too... As light as he is, I bet he's a smokey black :bgrin

    "Bagged up" mares

Well she may not bag up yet, you said she's two weeks away approximately? Have you double checked breeding dates? Is this the first time you've foaled her, or did you foal her out before? If so, did you keep record of bag changes with the first foaling? Can you get some photos of her to...

AMHR - Temp to Perm (???)

I haven't heard anything about DNA coming into effect for AMHR... Photos will now be a requirement for newly registered horses starting in Jan 2007..

At what age is the best time to take photos of foals?

I do all the photos myself, whenever I'm out at the barn or out in the pastures I have my camera in hand.. To me the best photos are the unexpected and unrehearsed of the horse being a horse and showing its true personality.. : I take photos of my foals from the moment they are born till the...

    Disgruntled New Person

Keep in mind there was a holiday between when you sent it and they received it.. Could have been a reason why it's taken so long.. I'm only a member with AMHR and haven't had a problem, I plan on registering with WCMHR too..

    "Bagged up" mares

I went back through my photos, here is Star in 2005 about 10 hrs prior to foaling: That's the only one I have, I didn't take pics of the three this year like I should have for record/knowing sake. I know that my silver bay mare didn't make a big udder, her teats filled out but she didn't...

    About manes and tails??

I do absolutely nothing to my guys and gals manes/tails except for clipping the ends and clipping short in the winter... I've clipped some of my horses' tails to just below the hocks, and by spring they're dragging the ground again.. Keep the ends clipped, I trim the tips once every one to 2...

    Show off your appaloosa minis

Not the best photo of him, but you can see his blue eye.. Both eyes are blue, but I think they are from him having overo breeding more than the appy breeding.. The 2006 appy colt actually had blue/gray eyes when he was born, but now they've gone a chocolately brown color
