im in Ireland so LOTS of rain when you get it healed cover the coat in baby oil, especially over the affected area, just the cheap stuff. this makes the coat waterproof and stops the rain getting to the skin. you can reapply every few weeks works here

in Ireland we call them grass warts. loads of home remedies but i find best thing is just to leave them and after a few months they just disappear. i find that ive never had them on a filly only ever on 2 geldings, 1 mini and 1 large horse

this is a yearling filly that i have bred, no neck sweating or conditioning - just play with her. my daughter has put some of these pics on facebook and lots of people rang and emaile me to ask about her. again not everyone looks for the same things in a horse and thats what makes it so great.

i have had several who never produced a bag and then some who only bag up in the last 12hrs and then some who bag up for weeks. ive even had 1 last year who continued to eat as foaling ..... you can clearly see the head out. if your mare has always foaled out in a pasture then maybe she will...

we dont have any aged stallions but when we do i'll have them gelded. we do however have a number of rescued old ladies, oldest being some where are 35 (we think) and they live with all the other girls on our farm. when they dont have a decent quality of life i will have them put to sleep but...
