Boy I wish the back porh could get through a thread without it being turned into a debate over religion. I might not post very often but I do enjoy hearing other peoples opinions on world events (BTW the purpose of this post). Some people just can't leave it alone.
Sending good vibes your way, hope it ends up being minor but wowzers you hear of some doozies going through shows and fairs. I hope this isn't going to be one of them, please let us know what ends up happening. My feeling was she was getting "sick" I always get sore and stiff when I'm coming...
You read my mind Target, in my opinion almost any horse that is sound can find its own niche in the show ring be it as a youth show horse, a showmanship horse, a 4-H horse or one who competes in obstacle or driving. The majority of horse shows I have been to in my life are for amusement, not big...
You should also have a card with your horses photo and your conact info and vet info in case of emergency. Laminate it or put it in a ziplock bag and tape it on your stall where he cannot reach it.
I no longer give the WN vaccine either after my little gelding got sick after receiving it one year. His wasn't a severe reaction but my worry was... would the next one be more serious? Slightly swollen neck, sore muscles all over, stilff and light sweating. It didn't last long but it was pretty...

I've been around since about 1998, and rarely miss checking the forum at least once a day. Hardly post anymore but can't stand the idea of losing track of so many people I've come to "know" and definatley care about. Seems there is always something to celebrate and someone to pray for. The forum...
