IF You Could Pick a Different FIRST Name, Would You? (POLL)

Oh yes! Have always hated it. My mother named me Lee Ann, no hyphen and no middle name. A life time of explaining.

    wash rack

Thanks Genie, I was looking for the one that's made of pipe like the big horses. Yours looks great, I wish I had the room but I'll have to put one outside. It's tough washing them holding onto a lead, I've got to do something to make it easier for me and my minis. Your gravel and mat idea is...

    wash rack

Does anyone have building plans for a mini horse wash rack? I can't keep going in circles and would love a rack to contain them while I bathe them. Thanks in advance. Lee

    submersible heaters

I just got a 100 gal. water trough and submersible heater. It says it needs a copper rod for grounding driven into the ground. The ground is getting frozen already here in Maine. Do I need the rod? If I don't use it will it electrocute anyone? Thanks ahead of time Lee P.S. Any advice on...

    Bloating...any experience with this?

I too have a yearling gelding that bloats. He's on a dry lot so it's not the grass. I'll be watching to see the what others have done to remedy this. Lee

    What do I do?

When my neighbors were feeding mine, I simply asked them not to because minis can get fat really quick and I was watching their weight. It worked with no hard feelings. Lee

    Anyone with type II diabites?

Well, I had the test today. The worst part was the waiting around. The glucose tasted like flat sprite, not bad. But this afternoon I was exhausted and took a nap, now I feel like crap. It's dinner time and I'm not hungry, the smell of the food makes me sick. Is this typical? I'm calling...

    Anyone with type II diabites?

Tomorrow I go for the glucose tollerance test. I can't exercise because of the nerve damage in my back and legs. This thread has been eye opening! I go to the Dr's on Oct 10 to get the results. This is scary stuff, I thought hitting 40 was health changing but this 50 stuff is waaay harder...

    Champagnes

Thank you all so much for answering my post. I'm going to send the pictures to the ICHA and I'm sure they will look her over and decide. Then I'll register her in the others. And I think, from what I've read, she can be DNA'd to exclude the silver etc. Leaving only the option for champagne...

    Champagnes

Thank you both for replying, too often I post with no replies. So there is only the one registry, the international champagne horse registry? Does AMHR recognize champagne as a color? If not, what do you register them as? Once again, thanks for answering my post. Lee

    Champagnes

Hi all! I just got a pretty little champagne filly with beautiful amber eyes. This color is new to me and I've been checking it out on the web, but I still have questions. 1. Is the champagne gene dominant? 2. What registry do you register them in (besides the usual A. R and World?) 3. What...
