Updated pictures of our foals that are growing up.

At Ryan's wonderful suggestion, please post pictures of our growing "fur kids" that were born here. We'd love to see how they are growing, and what they are doing!

O great idea, I was actually thinking about this a couple days ago!

I have a LOT that I could update on but I will try to just pick a few as it will take up far too much space otherwise!

Im going to start with one that actually is a bit hard for me to talk about but also one I am most proud of....Maple Hollows Magics Hocus Pocus...2013-2016. Reserve National Champion, Multi National Top Five, Multi National Top Ten, Multi Grand Champion, and Champion of Champions Halter Stallion....Sadly was lost this winter to chronic joint pain that we just couldnt pinpoint the cause of or relieve his pain so let him cross the rainbow bridge.....

Next is Maple Hollows Montes Black Gold, 2013 black mare. Multi Grand Champion and National Top Ten Halter mare with very limited showing. Will be starting her driving career this summer

Maple Hollows Rems Bazinga, 2014 buckskin appaloosa colt, sold and in NM with his new show family!

And Maple Hollows Getting Ziggy With It, 2014 chestnut pintaloosa filly, only shown limitedly so far but placed well

Im so sorry to hear about Maple Hollows Magics Hocus Pocus. What a stunner! Can i ask where the pain was showing? PM if you like. I'm trying to learn more about conformational issues.

He didnt have any 'conformational' issues, visibly was still in fantastic shape, it was just joint pain and throughout his entire body, there wasnt a point my vet could find that wasnt in pain and he was not eating well so made the hard, yet kinder choice for him. My vet said he has seen similar types of things in QHs but they never ended well either.

Yes, see i saw the pic and thought wow what fab looking confo, so wondered if it was something i was not seeing. Just one of those random things then :( my friends horse is the same, only 9 and retired due to joints. No reason for it either!

Here is a better pic of him too, just showed the other as his win pic but this has him set even better. He LOVED The show ring, nothing made him happier than entering that ring, was a complete love bug out of the ring but in the ring was a showy firecracker LOL! I am really going to miss showing him...

Keep them Coming Melinda, we love seeing how they are all maturing :)

Im so sorry for the loss of Hocus Pocus he really is an amazing animal to look at and sounds like he had the temperament to match.

Such a hard decision to make , but nothing worse than seeing one of your "Fur kids" in pain.

RIP

Thank you and yes, it was a lot harder to keep watching him be in pain but still made the decision a tough one. We put up a good battle but just couldnt find anything to help in the end.

And you asked for it so I will keep going on ones I can find :P Some I only have pics from before they left to their new homes but gives you an idea how they matured.

These are going back to 2012 :P All of these ones have been sold and are in their new homes. The last pic of the bay tovero is courtesy of his new owner who sent it to me after he won his classes at his first show!

I think I have found most of the recent pics I had of them.

I am sure I have more but I know these ones were all born on cam and cant say for sure on all the others :P

My pictures aren't as nice as Melinda's, as I don't show, so rarely have posed pictures, heck half the time, they aren't even groomed or clean; but here are a few of my babies that are adults now.

Most recent pic I have of Dolly, the pic is 2014; Dolly is a 2009 cremello out of Caddy and by Che` (only foal to date from either), and she is a chunky girl:

Manny, 2012 smoky silver black gelding by Topper out of Bonny (he's also a bit chunky and was being uncooperative for pictures last summer.

Monte, 2012 grulla gelding by Topper out of Tana, pic from last summer:
