I have only been around one zebu and he is very docile and friendly. Is that their nature?
All except the bull, yes.
The tiny dark cow is very standoff-ish, got her as a 2yr old like that, but she let's me pet her nose for a treat. Lol. Let us mess with baby, too, but defends against the dogs getting near.
Black n white loves to be loved on all over and loves giving kisses.
The gray/redhead paint forgot she loves attention, but is quickly remembering.
Baby moo is still learning to like people.
Little gray steer loves attention and giving kisses.
Bull likes pets, but also likes to threaten you with goring, so....lol, stay on the opposite side of the fence!

I volunteer at a ranch that has one bull zebu and he is very good. Maybe because he is the only zebu??? I don't know. I'm very aware of his horns and act cautiously.

Okay, got it reading 7.5 down in dry areas, 9.5 up the hill. Energizer reads 13.0 with zero load. So, decent for the size.
Will upgrade number of grounding rods and soon the size of energizer. Currently a 5 joule.

Should be in order.

Zooming around corner, but there's an obstacle.

Ugh, it's gonna be a long weekend...
20 min ground driving, away from his friends. Constant cutting left to go back, until the girls caught up to us. Que no confidence in himself.
Then the girls decided that racing past us, several times, was a good idea. Cue no self control.
On our way back, the girls vanished. He kept rushing to catch up, then noticed a big cow staring us down from the mountain. Cue attention span of a puppy.
I ask for stop & stand a few times, randomly. Cue no patience.
He tried to bolt after the girls repeatedly, they're no where to be seen. Cue no memory of that always failing, as its not allowed.
🫣🤦🏽‍♀️🙄😬
He's a hot mess.
Gonna be doing a heck of a lot of ground driving....

Went back out for round two.
Dunie thought he was part of it for a second. The mini girls did not join us this time. *phew*
He did much better! He still hates the bit, chews it non-stop, but if he's going to plow through a halter, he can try that 💩 with a bit and fail!
I hate to "bit up", but we can bit down after he knows he can't try to kill me! Husband will not feed his bum after that! Lol

3rd drive. Once his friends were out of sight, he went pretty decently.
The return was another story...

Yes! Definitely an adventure! Lots of things for him to process and, of course, things a horse has seen a 1000 times always looks different between a bridle! ;)

How old is he? I apologize if you posted that already!
