This one is a favorite in my house and my boys are so picky. So here goes.... (This recipe feeds my family of 4 and a little for the dog)...

2 lbs. ground beef (the lowest fat% you can get sirloin is good)

1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

2 eggs

3 buds chopped garlic

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 can mushrooms (drain)

salt & pepper to your taste

1 1/2 cups of cooked rice

1 bag (12oz)wide egg noodles

2 heap Tbsp butter

1 pack brown gravy mix

Mix all (first 8 ingredients listed) together rice last -Try not to mush the rice.

Form into about 1 inch meatballs place in large baking pan with about 1/2 inch deep water in bottom. Place in 350 degree oven about 30 mins or until brown all thru.

Cook egg noodles accordingly, drain noodles and immediately toss with butter.

Make gravy according to packet directions, or use your own gravy about a cup and a half if you have it.

In a large bowl add buttered noodles, cooked meatballs, and pour gravy on top. Serves good with peas and carrots and a big cold glass of sweet tea. Enjoy!!
