Thanks everyone. We are giving him banamine and plenty of cold hosing. Oh and ulcerguard. I feel so bad for him. We just delivered a 2 year old today and he will be gelded on Monday. My poor babies

We just had our 1year old colt gelded. The vet asked if we had bute. We said oh no...... they can't have it. We have banamine. Is there something better or safer to use for the pain and inflamation? Thanks

Thanks again everyone! This boy sure is something special~ We call him Bolt! He has truly stolen my heart. He gets so excited when he sees me coming! He walks away from his mama to come and love me and jump on me! He is the complete package!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you everyone! This little girl really is very tiny! Its amazing. The colt that is full brother to this filly was born at 312 days and had a 8 inch cannon. And this filly was born at 316 days and had a 5.5 inch cannnon! Figure that one out! LOL. You just really never know what you are going...

It too cold here to clip also. We are still having night time temps in the 20s. Even though the foals are all inside the barn, its just way too cold. They will all get clipped ONCE SPRING ACTUALLY ARRIVES HERE!

We tried so many different clippers. They didnt work for crap. I finally gave in and bought the double Ks. And so glad I did. It takes no time to clip the minis. They are by far the best clippers EVER!!!!!
