Cayuse, I actually do not know what her pedigree contains, she's not registered. I do know Momma and I think Pop as well are pinto, just don't know colors. Miniv, I would guess you could maybe test for that then if possibly linked to Sabino?

I haven't read too much on the topic, so I'll do that! But I have tried to compare this to photos of it on Google, and those mostly seem like very crisp and defined marks. Hers don't seem as crisp, but it sure does seem to follow her dapples,or maybe my eyes are messing with me, that's entirely possible!

    Shedding Yet?

It's been warm enough here that my QH sweats under his winter coat... I kinda wish they would shed a little... But I'm sure as soon as they did it would dump snow on us!

Hey! It's been a while since I've been here, I do miss you. But I got a new job with not near as much free time during the work day (hallelujah!) So I don't spend all my time on forums haha Anyways, I was just going through my phone and found these pictures from last spring after I had shaved Miss May. I do remember taking them to share with you because I was curious if this was the beginning of lacing. She didn't have it when I got her and I only really noticed it while I was riding my other horse and looking down at her. She does have some SMALL roan patches near some of her other spots so I'm sure it's possible that's what it is. Anyways just wanted some expert opinions. I didn't even know what lacing was until recently so maybe I'm just excited about the idea of having it haha 😉

    Your Drive Day

Eeeegh, I've never had to actually swat a dog, and I hope I don't have to (but I will if I must!) I get LOTS of dogs chasing me when I'm out driving. Many of them just stay in their yard and bark at me. The rest that come out into the road after me I point my whip at them and put on my growliest, meanest voice and give them a firm, scary "NO". So far they've all stopped and looked at me a bit befuddled. I've had a few yelp and run home with their tails between their legs like I had swatted them lol! The best one I had though was on maybe my third or fourth drive. I drove past a house and a Blue Heeler came out to follow us. He didn't bark or do anything, but I could see he was eyeing May's heels (like they do ha). He followed us for about two houses, and I was just about ready to swat him when I heard a very, very loud "GET BACK HERE YOU A-- HOLE!" Dog shriveled up and sauntered back home. He knew he was in trouble haha and I couldn't stop laughing. Love the Bun Bag haha. And Candace looks awesome! What a cute little girl, I hope she works out. And Cayuse, that picture of Cappy should be framed! Looks fantastic!

For sure! I keep hearing that, but finally got to see it in action. Pretty fascinating. I'm thinking I'll take her up that often, give her some buns of steel

    Your Drive Day

Took Miss May off the road yesterday. To get to the trail I usually ride we have to walk up a rocky, hilly field, and I thought we'd try it. She chugged up like a champ. I was ready to get out if she struggled, but she hauled my butt up no problem! It was pretty cool for me. I did get out going back down, she didn't seem very stable. It was so fun. Gotta get out and find me some more cart accessable trails!
