I looked at his ad, and I actually kind of like how he looks razored. Its not that bad. I might have to try it on my boy, if only once, at a local show or something to see how it looks on him. One of my clipper friends said she would razor him. Maybe the spot on his muzzle and his eyeliner will...
Yeah I've only seen ones with snips or blazes done, not minis with fully pink noses and eyes. I think I'm just going to clip his muzzle/eyes with a 40.
This is my boys face. Figured it might look a little creepy.. Just wanted to see pics of other ones razored before I made a decision. Theres probably a reason why I can't find a picture of a razored pink skinned mini LOL!
I razor my minis that have black skin and it looks amazing! Makes them stand out.. Look more araby and showy, it looks really good. I agree, I thought razoring a pink skinned mini may look weird, just wanted thoughts. And to see pictures of some razored.. I can't find a picture.
This is to all the show people out there-
I just bought a new mini. He is mostly white, and he has a pink nose (with one spot on it) and two pink skinned eyes with eyeliner. I am hesitant to razor it for show.. Will it look weird? I don't see too many razored pink skinned horses, especially on...
Thank you, I'll do that next time. This cart was made by Superior Sulky in Farmersville, Ohio. Definitely recommend him. Easy to work with and the cart is very nice and very nice to ride in.
Are you happy with the blinders on your bridle?
Yes. They are kind of close to her eyes but she can still see good. Planning on stretching those out so they face outwards more so they won't be so close to her eyes.
Cayuse, if you try, good luck! Good luck at all your shows this year, too.
I was out at the barn earlier and I didn't think to get a good picture of my girl, but I did get this so this is *kind of* a before/after. She was pretty furry before ?. And she was curly from a bath. She still needs her...
Thanks all for the compliments on my boy!
MajorClementine, for the body I use a Clipmaster clipper that seems to be able to adjust to any size blade. I probably use about a 10 blade for the body, against the grain. I dial it down to about a 30 for the face. Sometimes I clip against the grain on...
This is my gelding. Ignore the horrible pictures, my picture taking skills are definitely not anything to brag about! The second pic was taken at a super awkward angle so I had to crop his butt out.
Before
After.
My mare is almost done clipping too, finished her face today. Didn't take any...
As clipping season starts (for some), I thought this would be a fun post! I love before and after clipping pictures! I'm 90% done clipping my minis, just their legs left. Share your before/after pics from this year or past years!
