Love watching the youth and their enthusiasm for showing! I don't remember how to access the daily class results, though. Does anyone have that link? Thanks!

Coyote's in my pasture this morning pics

Especially during the winter, a pack of coyotes frequents my area, migrating through here every week. They do come right next to the dry lot and they hunt regularly in the pasture area at night or in the early morning. My observation is that they hunt rodents such as voles, mice, and gophers...

    Driving Obstacle People....

How about driving with one wheel on a plank, lengthwise? Or driving with one wheel between two poles? I've seen those obstacles a few times. Pam

    Knee pain

I've taken glucosamine for many years, and it really does make a difference. Because I am severely allergic to Aspirin and Ibuprofen, I'm limited to taking Acetaminophen for mild pain, so I'm glad the glucosamine is available. When my surgeon gave me a steroid injection, I also had to wear a...

    Does anyone have Parrots

My experience with parrots is limited to a young, smart, entertaining miniature macaw. He came to our family as a gift from a relative, via a North Carolina breeder, already trained to say a few meaningful phrases. One of those was, "Poop, good boy!" because that meant if we'd put him on his...

You be the judge for me,

Does your school allow students to challenge a course by taking a test to demonstrate mastery of the class material? If not, I hope the school board will be approached about that possibility in the near future. Whether or not you are able to move your son to a different class, is it possible...

    AMHR/ASPC

Candidate biographies are on pages 98-102 in the June/July issue of The Journal, and there's a good explanation of the election of Directors on page 97. This year's election includes Areas 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8. This info is from page 123 in that issue of The Journal. Area 1 (Shetland Seat)...

    Skin/Food/Seasonal Allergies in Dogs

My black lab has skin issues. I've changed his feed to Hills Science Diet for dogs with sensitive skin, and he recently finished a two-week regimen of antibiotics plus antifungal medication, both given orally. Also, keeping his claws trimmed and putting hunting booties on his hind feet prevented...

Putting a new metal roof on

To me, the most attractive metal roofs are the copper-toned ones that appear to sparkle in the sunlight. They reflect the light and appear to change colors depending on the angle of the sun. I've noticed this new roofing protecting old as well as contemporary farmhouses surrounded by crops...

    Just wanted to say goodbye

Your post about the mare was exceptionally informative, including the vet evaluation and feeding program which so improved the health of the mare. Thank you so much for the detailed description of what worked in your situation. It could certainly help other objective owners with horses in...

    cleaning feet

When I used the term "header" I was referring to the person standing by the horse's head, holding the halter or the lead line. I didn't mean to cause confusion. I think you'll see lots of improvement and find it quite rewarding as you continue working with your horses. Pam
