Since the cold weather is upon us, and I refuse to go outside (except to go to Joann's), I have been busy sitting at my machine. I have decided to try to use up my scraps. So far, it's not really working that well as my stash supply doesn't seem to have gone down and my last four quilts have been scrappy. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Anyway, I've never done a quilt with different size blocks. So, I decided it was just about time to try that. This has 6" blocks and 12" blocks. I really like it. I may have to do this again sometime.

Now I have to baste it with the batting and backing and I hate doing it so I have been putting it off. But, sooner or later, I'm going to have to actually eat at my dining room table so I guess I'd best get started on that today.

Beautiful! The color pops and varying sizes make for a really interesting design. If I ever got even a baby size quilt to that point I would be more than happy to take it to the local quilt shop for finishing. My "quilt" projects are stashed away worked on from time to time. There is always the hope that is will have my quilted Thanksgiving runner done next year. Three years after starting...
