I am attempting to train my minis to drive and I was just wondering if I could get some tips? Also how do y'all decide what style of driving works with a mini? I have been looking at all the different classes and I just can't decide.

It all depends upon how your horse moves and carries himself. Western country pleasure (AMHR) horses move with a level tooling and long, low strides, and carry their weight 50/59 front to back. As do the classic pleasure horses. Country pleasure horses move more upright and carried more weight on their hindquarters and they have more lift to their legs. Pleasure/single pleasure carry even more weight on their hindquarters, carry themselves even more upright and have more lift to their legs. A good place to see this is at IAMranch.com. They have videos, photos, etc on the different disciplines.
