Cowboy Magic detangler. It has a pleasant scent that does not give me a headache. My vet commented once how good my ponies all smelled.

If they have flakey manes and tails I use human dandruff shampoo (I have had great luck with that clearing up itchy manes or tails).

For supplements I love Ultra Cruz vitamin E, Conquer HA, Opti-zyme probiotics, Remission, and ShoGlo vitamins.

ABSORBINE!! I can't forget to mention that, good for both man and beast.

"Black Caviar" grooming Products. If you can get them out side of Australia , they are definitely worth trying

I love the smell of Pepi. When the equine dentist was here she couldn't get over how good they all smelled. She was all over them She said she was getting some for her horse. Will have to remember to ask if she found it.

I love shapeley's MTG too, and straight arrow hoof maker. Now that money is so tight, I make most of my own grooming products, simply because I cannot afford to purchase name brand stuff. I think the best thing ever is green spot out grooming spray. I make detangler with baby oil and water in a spray bottle, hoof oil with lanolin and peanut oil, linement with wintergreen alcohol and witchazel, use listerine for dandruff, peroxide for thrush. It's amazing how resourceful one gets when they're poor. Lol. I buy all of these items at the dollar store. With over 30 ponies in the barn, I HAVE to pinch pennies.

Any and all Eqyss products. And I've tried them all. environmentally friendly, and they all smell amazing!

Cowboy magic detangler. Cowboy magic shine in - yellow out. Cowboy magic rosewater shampoo.

Absorbine hoof black and clear (nothing compares to these, well nothing in Australia anyway)

Champion tails cover creme. Basically, it's a white paste and you paint it on stockings/socks, put boots on, then take the boots of before you go in the ring, give the legs a quick brush and the legs are white as white. It lasts for days and covers any stains etc.

My owner uses women's' silicone hair shine for detangler and he makes his own sole spray by mixing gentian violet with a little povidone iodine. 3-1 or 2-1 ratio in a small spray bottle. Same and cheaper than thrush buster.

Both gentian violet and PI are even human baby safe and this mixture kills all the nasties on my feet.

Hask Argan oil deep conditioner packets from Walgreens. Amazing in manes and tails. It conditions and softens without leaving the hair heavy or greasy. It's about $1 per packet and one packet will do both minis for me.
